I'm Nikita, a Spinal energetics and Reiki Practitioner based in Whangarei, New Zealand.

Spinal energetics is a powerful but gentle modality combing eastern and western practices and philosophies to interact with a persons spine, nervous system and energetic field. The mission is to create harmony by releasing stress, trauma and old stories stored in the body and within your energetic field.

Trauma is not just an event that took place sometime in the past; it can also be an imprint left by that experience on a person. This imprint can have ongoing consequences, conscious and subconscious, for how we exist in the present, how we relate to ourselves and others. Trauma results in a fundamental re-organisation of the way the mind and brain manage perceptions.

Spinal Energetics can assist in reducing symptoms and calming the nervous system out of a sympathetic state and into the parasympathetic one, allowing a shift into 'thrive, rather then 'survive' mode. in this thriving space, we can reflect, and process from a place of calm and compassion. This release of tension and softening into acceptance of oneself can in turn help with discomfort, pain and other symptoms.

Spinal energetics is not something we 'do' to a client, it is a practice of collaboration to cultivate and support deep self-awareness in our clients to help them soften and or strengthen patterns of resistance and /or submission that may be preventing wellbeing from flowing to them.
